Why does tmobile have crappy phones
Dish revealed that this change would cause a significant disruption to its service and increase its churn rate. To where might these departing Dish customers churn? By turning off this lifeline to Dish, T-Mobile can drive Boost customers back to T-Mobile, which should place upward pressure on the price that T-Mobile charges for prepaid plans.
The idea was that Dish would grow and expand Boost, not just retrench and harvest cash flow as subscribers defected back to the three facilities-based carriers. Relying on this and other testimony from business managers, the trial judge basically threw out the presumption of competitive harm. Indeed, the penalty is also small relative to what some think its spectrum holdings FCC-assigned property rights, typically to winning bidders, to offer wireless service could fetch if sold outright.
Accordingly, Dish has a strong incentive to avail itself of the resale crutch, making the minimum investment necessary, until it finds a savior to take the spectrum off its hands. I mean, wtf, it is so bad I would be better off not having a phone at all bc ppl think i am ignoring them, i dont get their messages, and mine dont send.
It doesnt give you any warning it didnt send either, just basically after hours of wondering why ppl dont respond you check and see that it didnt send. My coverage wasn't bad in Canton, OH. That is as long as I wasn't in a building including my house! I just moved to Hubert, NC and it barely works at all now. I guess thinking TMobile might get better after the Sprint merger is kinda like thinking Sears would improve from merging with Kmart!
They should be called T-maybe. Cause that's all the more guarantee you'll get that your service will work.. Customer Service and Technical Support are the worst I have ever experienced. The workers talk endlessly but never do their job which is to actually fix the problem. I have wasted many hours over many days over many weeks trying to resolve the same problem. A call can be transferred 3 to 4 times and it never gets resolved.
T-Mobile is oversold in my market Central California. Off peak speed is ok but speed tests during peak hours show a connection whose speed is completely unusable. Sprint was truly a good company until T-mobile took over. Now service has gone down drastically and prices have gone up on everything, especially new devices. This merger was supposed to help instead is only helped T-mobiles pockets.
I have an iPhone XR, I cannot use my company wireless at work so to listen to music or podcasts while I work I went with Tmobile for an unlimited plan.
But it looks like this was a big mistake. My podcast app will not load and SiriusXM will not load from my phone. I had been a customer of T-Mobile for over 10 years, until yesterday. T-Mobile has been going downhill for years.
I am glad I made the switch. I should have done it a long time ago. I switched to T-Mobil from Verizon after over 30 yrs. I thought I did the research for my area All the coverage maps indicated T-Mobile was saturating my town! I downloaded apps to test tower signal strength etc all that I could think, T-Mobile looked pretty damn good.
I made the switch. Well thanks to the pandemic, I had been indoors using wifi, until the other day. I tried to search something on google, nothing. Tried to text, nothing, call nothing, all while in different parts of town. In my opinion, you have tricked people by giving full strength signal, but knowing full well you have absolutely zero effin bandwidth!!
Sounds like a class action law suit to me. Anyone interested? I left T mobile years ago they kept maling mistakes on my billing Went to sprint for over 13 years never had any problems Right now all I get is call ended an almost every number I call I am going to verizon ASAP. As they are phasing out the I was a Sprint customer for many years and had to go to T-Mobile.
As they are phasing out the older phone lines had to upgrade my mothers phone I provide her. She lives in another state. No problem, log into my account, pay full price because they wont discount anything forcing you to change had it sent to her.
She goes to the store to get help activating it she has a hard time with these things And they "can't" help because I bought it from the old Sprint web site. No she has to try to do it on her own with, in my experience so far, the worst customer services reps on the planet. I paid full price because I was lied to about billing already. When my "buy one get one" deal is up, I'm never going back. T Mobile Down Right Sucks!! Here again Sprint when away, forced into T Mobile, purchased a new phone, has their Sim card in so it will supposedly work and the service is terrible!!
Call up to the Sprint store in Chambersburg, now T Mobile and they will not answer the phone! Called there so Called support and I'm being told that with their Sim card in the phone it will only link to their towers, no roaming to someone else's tower.
Good is that? We will be looking for a new carrier asap. I was forced to switch over from Sprint to T-Mobile after learning that sprint was shutting down. Not only did I have to purchase a new phone the service sucks. My new I phone says 5G i did a speed test an found to be getting a whopping. T Mobile is a true lie. There is no 5G, when I am driving I can no longer get map directions. There is no cellular data most of the time.
Unless I am at home using my WiFi, I can barely get any cellular service for maps, music, and general reading on the internet. Yes, I have all the settings correct. The coverage map is a fraud. T-Mobile is a fraud company. They literally don't have towers where they claim to have coverage. A physical impossibility. The BBB is fraud. Dav, 27 Sep Why are they letting T-mobile monopolize?
